Rad - Support Worker & Fishing Expert
Hi, I’m Rad (Radford). Originally from New Zealand, I moved to Australia in 2000 and spent years in construction and health & safety before moving into support work.
I’m easy-going, hands-on and love working with people. I enjoy metal and woodwork, fixing engines, and especially fishing 🎣
You’ll often find me leading our fishing days at Shed 4 All, it’s a great way to connect, get outdoors and have a laugh.

Isabelle - Support Worker & Crochet Queen
I chose to become a support worker because I’m passionate about helping people build independence and live fulfilling, meaningful lives. I’ve seen how the right support can make a real difference, and I wanted to be part of that positive change.
I recently started working with GDS & Shed 4 All and have already loved getting to know participants and their families while building strong, trusting connections.
A fun fact about me is that I have two very playful ferrets who keep me entertained with their cheeky antics!

Donna Staines - Community Peer Worker & Craft Master
I become a disability support worker because I had a massive change in my life and didn’t know what to do. I raised two deaf children and was told I would fit the role. I have worked at GDS for almost seven years.
My hobbies include lawn bowls and anything crafty. Cardmaking, knitting, album making, sewing and cooking.
If I don’t know how to do something, I will learn to do it. A fun fact about me I am terrified of ladders but not scared of heights.
